Since 2016, I’ve had the privilege of being part of founding teams for corporate and venture-backed startups, owning critical aspects of product development and web infrastructure.

I optimize and maintain the entire CI/CD pipeline as well as local and remote quality gates, build specialized tooling for automation, and routinely resolve critical/high prod issues, enabling devs across all teams to work more efficiently and with less headaches.
Scaled CI for agentic development: 4x increase in PR checks with 1.8x increase in GitHub Actions spend. Thanks to the monorepo migration, just 28% more devs produced 331% more output.
Rebuilt CI to be deterministic and extremely fast with custom changed files detection, highly optimized PR checks, and pre-commit and pre-push checks with custom lint rules, and <4min total check time.
Defined quality gates for the entire dev team so agent PRs meet the same standard as human-written code. Despite 7.7x PR count growth, red builds went down to 1/3rd of baseline.
Migrated all repos into one monorepo for maximum synergy: Same local + remote quality gates for all apps. Types, components, libraries, tooling, etc. shared via locally-linked packages; no build + publish step required.
Rewrote frontend session handling to be fully tab-agnostic, enabling employees to safely switch between clients for customer support, onboarding, or client demos without leaking other clients' data.

A corporate startup of Europe's largest retailer Schwarz Group (Lidl & Kaufland), with the aim to build Europe's first large-scale cloud contestant to AWS and GCP.
As part of a SCRUM team I built the frontend using TS + Angular and the MongoDB service broker with Golang.

Europe's largest retailer Schwarz Group (Lidl & Kaufland) financed my Bachelor's degree and made me fall in love with Linux. I learned to script and code in vim, building fullstack web apps with bash, Python, JS and PHP 5 on (slightly neglected) RHEL jump hosts, mainly for Linux server installation automation.
Hours-long manual processes were reduced to minutes, and easily observable for all admins in web dashboards instead of individual terminals.
Trumpf-backed Startup
As founding engineer at Optimate, a corporate startup of Trumpf (global market leader in industrial laser technology and machine tools) I was the main contributor to a now patented algorithm for automated 3D sheet metal part optimization and error analysis. This project involved using TS + Vue, Python, and C to their limits to combine machine learning with complex state-of-the-art 3D transformations of STEP files.
I reduced the 20min duration of the CTO's POC down to 1.5min, creating an MVP that secured additional funding by TRUMPF to grow the startup, after which I became Tech Lead of a small dev team.
